When the scriptures were written, and they spoke of antichrist, Israel was antichrist, in that they refused to believe that Jesus was the promised messiah, the Christ. They were the first group known as antichrist. Since then, MANY other groups and religions (all of whom Jesus said were false, and God said the same thing) have come onto the world scene and are antichrist. Any religion thinking Jesus is God is antichrist also. Any religion believing in a trinity is considered antichrist. There isn’t just one, there are hundreds of millions of antichrist. It’s a group, not a person.
