One fundamental reality is that people live more than one life; and that the memories of previous lives are evidence of that reality.
This is referred to as ‘reincarnation’, ‘rebirth’, or the ‘transmigration of souls’ in the Eastern religions. And, in the Revelations of the monotheistic religions, it is referred to as “the resurrection”; a Doctrine implied in the Torah, and specifically taught as ‘Rebirth’ by Isaiah, Daniel, Jesus and Mohammed; but contradicted flagrantly by Jewish, Christian and Muslim theology.
And it is the contradiction of this one fundamental Truth which results in the theologies of violence which cause division, conflict, bloodshed and mass-murder among and between Jews, Christians and Muslims. See the notes on my website:
