We visited one of the oldest tourist attractions in England – Mother Shipton’s cave and petrifying well. It is situated along the river Nidd in the picturesque town of Knaresborough, in North Yorkshire. As well as visiting this attraction you can also have a walk around Knaresborough – along the river, hire a rowing boat, visit the ruins of the castle or spend time relaxing in their pubs and cafes. What do you think about Mother Shipton?
