For once I am in agreement. Such drastic viewpoints should not be expressed nor adhered to. It is showing to the whole world that the US is full of racist bigots.

So get over the branding ….it only hides truth.

Tea leaf readings aside, all these American politicians claiming to be Christians are proving they are neither. Every single state in the USA who are not wanting to care for refugees, are all the states with the highest number of Christians. They are claiming the refugees are terrorists, and refusing to give them shelter. Thus proving without any doubt they are not Christians, because every year Christians hold a festival, plays and reenactments of a middle eastern couple fleeing persecution, every door slammed in their faces, no room at the Inn and having to give birth in a poxy stable. Oh the irony.
What gave you the idea that the U.S. is a Christian nation. Morality is cultural, every culture defines what it believes to be moral, there is no absolute moral code. Unless of cause you adhere to a belief that there is an absolute truth and a omnipotent being dispensing it. The U.S. is a secular country who’s main concern should be the well being of it’s own citizens . No nation , no people, no Individual is obligated to be his “brothers keeper’. It is a cultural choice or a individual choice . If the action of giving makes you feel good , then do it, but don’t feel your action is better then someones inaction , there is no cosmic score card, an as such no right or wrong in the matter. If you feel you want to take a homeless person under your roof then do it, but you cannot condemn your neighbor for refusing to do the same.
It’s morality is based on Christianity. Did you know that at one point women were not allowed to wear trousers, they had cross the wilderness wearing a rape me sign. It is a secular country, but only just and only in some states. In some states you can’t stand for office unless you are a Christian.
The U.S. was founded by Deists, Free Masons, Agnostics followers of the Age of Reason and Protestants . It’s morality is based on their dogma , superstitions and philosophies . None of which are Christians . Christianity is a product of the the Roman Empire and the Emperor Constantine in order to consolidate and control a overburdened empire a one world religion was adopted. Roman Catholicism is Christianity from the hierarchical positions to the government of lands (parishes) to the dress and ceremonies all reflect customs of the empire . Protestantism is political in nature created by German princes and a defrocked monk, it was created as a political force by the royals and free masons and a few confused quasi “theologians” who couldn’t translate Greek or Latin very well. Protestantism from the Lutherans to the Mormons to the followers of Jim Jones were all political movements that little to do with Christianity. All cultures have their methods of control from feet binding to male castration . There is no right or wrong there is no judgment from a biological view it only life. Your Bible tells you what humankind is in Eccl. 2 :17 the writers were close to what makes up humanity even without supernatural assistance . With reference to the 7 states that have those archaic laws on the books they were put there for political control by protestants who are outside of Roman Catholicism .
