The weather is within normal parameters. There are various places who are getting strange weather because of a combination of El nino and a slightly more southerly than normal Arctic vortex. Which in places is pushing warmth north and cold south.
To be fair, Pix, it may be within normal parameter, where you are (Iceland, if memory serves), but it’s been pretty messed up, here in Canada. We didn’t get our first real snowfall, until TWO DAYS AGO. Usually, we have about 30-40 centimeters, by the beginning of December, if not much earlier. I’m no meteorologist, but that’s not normal.
As for it being a fluke, it sounds like someone grasping at straws, to argue climate change. You know the type: They’ll stand at the uppermost point of a sinking ship, and tell you that you can’t be sinking, because you’re 50 feet, above the water.
