Daniel 9:27
27 And HE shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week HE shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations HE shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Matthew 24:15
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, (Man of Sin, Son of Perdition, Anti-Christ) spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Matthew 24:29–30
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days (The tribulation that occurs after the commission of the abomination of desolation committed by the Anti-Christ, Man of Sin, Son of Perdition) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and THEY SHALL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

This did not happen when Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the temple nor at any other historical event The coming of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, is connected to the abomination of desolation; an act committed by the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition, the Anti-Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:1
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
The timing of believers gathering back to Christ at the second coming is the subject being addressed here.

2 Thessalonians 2:3–4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Paul warns them, and us, that the day of Christ return and the saints gathering back to Christ will not occur until the man of sin, the son of perdition is revealed.
He then tells us that the man of sin, the son of perdition, (The Anti-Christ) will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God or any that is worshipped as God. He tells us that “this man” will declare himself to be God. Therefore, he will by this, reveal to the world that he is THE Anti-Christ.

This is the same thing that Daniel 9:27 is telling us but with more details.
An individual will come on the scene at the time of the end. He will fill the role of THE Anti-Christ.

The combined testimony of a “great cloud” of stinking heretics doesn’t amount to squat.

Christ established the papacy. By calling the papacy Antichrist, Amminidab is saying that Christ established the Antichrist.

Scripture clearly tells me human souls are immortal….If redeemed from this death spell we call earthly life. Scripture tells me how and why we are the way we are….liable to die….Immortality is not available to any but believers…..washed in the blood of Christ. That’s the way it is, and has always been. Your earthly/logical belief system will fail you, as the reality you DO believe disintegrates….

In the Beginning

Genesis 2:7 God formed Adam into “a living soul.”
Genesis 2:16-17 God warned that if Adam sinned, he would “surely die.”
Genesis 3:4 The serpent said, “you will not surely die.”
Genesis 3:19 Because of sin, man will return to dust.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Death is creation of a living soul in reverse. We return to dust “and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
Job 27:3 The spirit of God does not live in our nose! This is referring to the breath of life from God.
Genesis 3:22-24 God did not want Adam and Eve after sin to take from “the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.” So He drove them out of Paradise. Therefore no sinner will naturally “live forever” apart from Jesus Christ.
Genesis 5:5 After Adam lived 930 years, then “he died.”
The Soul is Not Immortal

Job 4:17 The Bible calls man mortal.
Revelation 16:3 “Every living soul died in the sea.” Souls can die.
Ezekiel 18:4 God said, “The soul that sins, it shall die.” Again, the soul can die!
Exodus 1:5 “Seventy souls” went to Egypt. Souls are people.
Acts 2:41 “Three thousand souls” were baptized. Again, souls are people.
1 Peter 3:20 “Eight souls were saved” in Noah’s day. Again, souls are people.
1 Timothy 6:16 God “only has immortality.” Man is not immortal.
2 Timothy 1:10 “Immortality” comes only “through the gospel.”
Romans 2:7 Christians “seek for immortality.”
1 Corinthians 15:53 At the end, “this mortal” shall “put on immortality.”
Death is a Sleep

Job 14:12 The dead “shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep” until “the heavens be no more.”
Psalms 13:3 “Lest I sleep the sleep of death.”
Daniel 12:2 “Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.”
Acts 7:60 When Stephen died, “he fell asleep.”
John 11:11-14 “Lazarus sleeps … Jesus spoke of his death.”

John 5:28-29 “All who are in their graves” will be resurrected at the second coming of Christ.
John 6:39, 40, 44, 54 All believers will rise “on the last day.”
John 11:24 Martha said to Jesus, “I know that he [Lazarus] shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
