(Before It's News)

The essential Christian teachings, regarding Salvation is one of the most important and misunderstood doctrines of the Christian Faith.

We Can Have Assurance of Salvation, by understanding Salvation Scripture, but can we lay claim to Salvation in the present tense, or is Salvation what we hope for?

Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Essential Christian teachings

Essential Christian teachings show us that we can have the Assurance of Salvation in Christ Jesus. This is when we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, unto our inheritance of eternal life with Him.

Essential Christian teachings

The end result of faithfully following Jesus is rejoicing in His Salvation, that He rewards his Elect with at the end of this age.

We do not rejoice in the salvation that we claim to possess, but rather we will rejoice in His Salvation when it is revealed to us.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

John did not baptize with water and expect immediate repentance, it would be a process. The essential Christian teachings related to sanctification and beliefs of the truth, are unto Salvation, ready to be revealed at the last day.

One of the essential Christian teachings is enduring until the end, and this involves much tribulation; actions that  few are willing to partake in.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Matt 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

The false teachers in the Christian church do great harm to the very understanding of Salvation, as they falsely teach that Salvation is realized through works. To claim that Salvation occurs in the present tense removes faith and hope from occurring.

1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

However we can have the Assurance of Salvation, and this hope of our unification with Christ gives us a Faith that endures until the end.

So true faith and hope are most assuredly two of the most important essential Christian teachings related to Salvation.

But how can you hope for something you already believe to possess (2 Tim 2:14-18)?

The essential Christian teachings provide the true follower of Christ with the assurance of the Salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9).

Essential Christian teachings

True Essential Christian teachings bring about transformation

The true understanding of Faith in Christ, through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and the transformation it brings to the believer are essential Christian teachings.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The word transformed actually means metamorphosis. Through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we put on the mind of Christ, discern the truth, and walk in the light instead of darkness.

Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

The word converted has several meanings. It is used to describe turning away from something that is evil, and also turning back to that evil.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

The true faith in the Word of God can cause one to repent and turn away from the things of this world. We need to be converted, and turn away from our willful sinful acts.

Gal 4:8-9 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Paul talks about the new law of Christ and inquires why anyone would want to return to the bondage of the old law.

2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

The pollutions of the world include contaminating our minds with deceptive teachings, including righteousness through the Old Testament Law.

The essential Christian teachings, regarding the New Law of Christ, is imperative to remain true to the Christian Faith.

Essential Christian teachings on the New Testament Covenant of Christ

He came unto his own and they received him not.  But to those who did receive him, he gave them the power to become the sons of God. These were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:11-13).

Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

There are hidden mysteries that the essential Christian teachings shines a light on.

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither can they have the understanding of the treasures yet to be revealed in Christ, that He has prepared for all of his children that Love His appearing. Those that walk according to the spirit of this world are deaf, blind and without any knowledge of the mysteries of Christ (1 Cor 2:7-16; Rom 6:16-23; Isa 64:4).

In Christ however we are made alive through His spirit of truth, escaping the law of sin and death.

The essential Christian teachings of The New Covenant of Christ, frees us from the law of sin and death, through the law of the Spirit of life in Christ (Rom 8:2).

Essential Christian teachings encourage us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and the New Covenant promises, instead of the illusions of the world that are but distractions from the real treasures in Christ.

If we truly search for Jesus, He will come to us and then all of these Spiritual Blessings will be added unto us (Gal 6:8; Math 6:19-20; Luke 12:21-34; Math 6:33).

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The New Covenant of Christ is Spiritual, and is put into our minds and written in our hearts. (Heb 8:10).

The True Israel of God Revealed Through Essential Christian teachings

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

The essential Christian teachings reveal that the New Covenant of Christ was made for all of mankind, the new Israel of God (Gal 6:15-16).

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Essential Christian teachings shows that Christ came to confirm the covenant with many, and only Born again believers are the true Israel of God. As well they are the only ones to be recognized as the children of God.

The true Israel of God, represents all who are in Christ Jesus. Those who continue in His covenant are indeed rightful Heirs of the Kingdom (Heb 8:6-10).

Eph 5:6-11 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

God indeed knows the condition of the heart of man, most things that are highly esteemed among men are an abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15).

So many who claim to be of Christ today are guilty of this crime?

Born again believers have the ability to expose the frauds at the pulpits who are self-righteous and full of vanity and deceit. The promise of the Spirit of Christ unto redemption can only be received through faith. This is the blessing given unto Abraham who would be the founder of many nations; and ultimately all nations through Christ. All of the faithful followers of Christ are the true Israel of God, and partake of the blessings given to Faithful Abraham.

All who are truly in Christ are now considered the Israel of God, and are promised the inheritance of eternal life with Him, at His second coming. All who walk in the faith of Christ are counted as Abraham’s seed. Because of the fact that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they understand that to be without Christ Jesus, and yet claim to be of the chosen ones of the tribe of Judah is nonsensical.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

I Will Bless Those That Bless Thee, And Curse Those That Curse Thee

The essential Christian teachings reveal who partakes in this blessing.

Gen 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

This blessing was to Abraham, not modern day Israel! Mathew speaks of the generations that start with Abraham, continue through David and end with Christ. The blessings of Abraham come on all that have faith in Christ. The reason for this is that the promises were made to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Gal 3:14-16).

Keep in mind that neither Abraham, Isaac, Jacob nor his sons were of the tribe of Judah. And therefore they were not jewish, nor did they practice judaism. Furthermore even if those in modern day Israel could prove a lineage from Jacob’s son Judah, which is highly unlikely, without Faith in Christ and adherence to His New Law, there is no blessing.

In Christ there is no difference between the Judeans or the Greeks. The important thing is to recognize that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, and are therefore members of the body of Christ. Essential Christian teachings show us that those who are truly transformed by Christ are Sealed with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and truly are the Israel of God.

1 Cor 10:1-4  Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;  And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;  And did all eat the same spiritual meat;  And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ
