The Greatest Lie ever told within Christianity Exposed – Our Assurance of Salvation

(Before It's News)

Our Assurance of Salvation is he that endures until the end shall be saved

We can not discuss the hope that we do not have, because of our assurance of Salvation that we claim to already possess, as opposed to the knowledge of one day receiving it. Many deceived souls accept the false teaching of having the assurance of Salvation by works, when they claim to be saved now by the words they speak. They do not have the hope of the rewards promised to be given at the end of this age, and therefore they miss out on an incredible journey. This is one of the greatest lies ever taught to the masses; it also parallels a similar condition that Jesus encountered with the false teachers of that time.

To make the claim that we are saved before we truly are, is self-righteousness, and it is a deadly and empty false doctrine.

Lam 3:26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

The Lamb of God is also the King of Kings, and He alone provides our assurance of Salvation. This gift is given to all who are worthy of it, that worship Christ in Spirit and in Truth.

Zech 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

The cross upon which Christ died, for the remission or covering of our sins, is the reason we can know of and obtain our assurance of Salvation.

Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

The explanation of this beautiful act of redemptive power and glory is given through His Love letter to us. This is our prized possession, it is the Living Word of God.

Acts 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Following the new commandments that are written in our hearts and minds enable us to be referred to as His children. We can with Christ’s Love, understand and direct others towards the path of our assurance of Salvation. When one experiences real joy, sharing this joy with others naturally occurs.

Acts 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

The gospel message and salvation scriptures of Christ to us that believe with all of our heart mind and spirit is the power of god unto our assurance of Salvation. The word unto is an important one that distinguishes the timing. John uses the same word when he said that he baptizes with water unto repentance.

For The Christian Our Assurance of Salvation Comes by Faith

Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

According to salvation scriptures, we gain access to His Grace and Mercy by Faith through His Spirit.  What a blessing our assurance of Salvation truly is. Our redemption from the sinful flesh and our gathering together unto Him, at the last day both occur at the same time. This is what motivates us, gives us a sure hope and allows us to produce works that are approved and acceptable through the Holy Spirit.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

We joyfully wait with great anticipation, for the second coming of our Redeemer. Our reward is with and through Him, and Christ is the treasure we cling to. For the spirit filled Christian our assurance of Salvation is the realization we will inherit incorruption and immortality, if we faithfully run the race set before us. Notice that Christ only appears a second time with our Salvation, not three times as the Pre tribulation Rapture crowd would have it.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Judean first, and also to the Greek.

We are to put off the works of darkness and the many false teachings that have lulled so many to sleep. Christ our Salvation draws nearer, as this present evil world is about to expire.

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we (first) believed.

That which is born of the flesh is of the flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is of the spirit. We who are Born again have a true knowledge of the Kingdom of God, and our assurance of Salvation is fully realized and sought after with great joy.

Our Assurance of Salvation Is Spiritually Discerned

Being born again and receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit are one in the same. Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he can not enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-8).

Our Assurance of Salvation

The greatest tragedy is believing you are Born again without ever experiencing the true indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This lie is an empty promise that leads to death and destruction, as the ability to truly understand Christ and His life changing testimony is impossible without His Spirit (John 14:17; 15:26; 16:13; Eph 1:13).

All false teachers and the congregations that they preside over, that do not truly have the Holy Spirit have a form of godliness. But they deny the power thereof, as it is quite impossible to truly know Jesus, apart from having His Spirit that abides in us.

The true spirit filled believer is the temple of God. The first chapter of Ephesians is very powerful, and gives us a vivid description of our assurance of Salvation that we can possess. The believer that has been sealed is Born Again. This life changing event is also known as the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With this infilling we can understand and walk in the Word, and therefore our assurance of Salvation is possible.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Christ purchased us through His shed blood and gives us the Holy Spirit as a down payment. We are sealed or set apart from the world at this point, and the fulfillment of this contract which is our inheritance, occurs upon our redemption at His second coming.

Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Christ spoke plainly when He said that unless you believe and are baptized you shall not be saved. He did not say you are saved, but you shall be saved.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Emphasis added

John the Baptist proclaimed that are two Baptisms; one is unto repentance, and the other is unto our assurance of Salvation through the Holy Spirit. All in Christ can have the Assurance of Salvation, but it does require the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Without the Spirit it is impossible to even understand the Word of God. This is why there is so much division in the so-called Christian church today.

Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

John also tells us in salvation scriptures that we will be baptized with fire. This will be a process in which the impurities and useless pursuits of our lives will be burned up. What is left behind will be the determination of what type of rewards are due.

1 Cor 3:13-14 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

Our faith will also be tried in much the same way as our works. The end result of real faith, is that it automatically produces good works, unto our assurance of Salvation.

1 Peter 1:7-9 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

It is the Spirit of Truth that enables us to truly receive and walk in Christ; the Spirit witnesses or confirms the truth of Jesus to us. It also empowers us to be a true witness to others with the authority of Christ.

John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:And ye also shall bear witness,( testify) because ye have been with me from the beginning.

We are saved by the renewing of the Spirit; the picture here is that of our old nature being made new, when we put on the mind of Christ. The same word is used when Paul warns us not to conform to the world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. The word regeneration is used by Christ to describe the process of our immortality and incorruption when we are changed at his second coming.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he (saves us) by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

The Hope of our assurance of Salvation, is actually both a tactical and a defensive weapon, that we use to endure and conquer.

1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

We love Him because He first loved us. We believe through the power of the Holy Spirit that provides us with a lasting faith unto our assurance of Salvation.

1 Peter 1:8-9 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Our Assurance of Salvation and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Christ speaks very clearly regarding the timing, of not only our assurance of Salvation revealed but the gathering together (or rapture), which most definitely occur at the same time. Here are a few more examples:

  • When you see the end time events start to unfold; then look up for your redemption and salvation is at hand (Luke 21:28).
  • Jesus will return with the Angels and reward all according to their works; some will inherit the new kingdom; many will be sent to Hell (Math 16:27).

The Word of God will return to set in motion the first judgment and resurrection; those that destroy the earth will be sent to Hell to await the lake of fire. However a full reward is given to the prophets, saints and servants (Rev 11:18). It should be noted that the prophets saints and others are rewarded at this time, which most assuredly is at the end of the great tribulation period.

Three very crucial false doctrines are destroyed just by this one verse.

1-First of all, a rapture or gathering of the church before this time is quite impossible. How could the prophets not be worthy of the same rewards of the church?  The entire body of Christ, together, will be rewarded with glorious new bodies at Christ’s second coming.

2-Secondly, a pre-tribulation rapture would suggest that the present day church is more righteous than those who died for their testimony of Christ, and penned the very Word of God. This notion is obviously beyond ludicrous.

But this is the teaching of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture movement. The church is raptured away and receive their rewards; then years later the prophets and saints are rewarded.

3-Thirdly, our assurance of Salvation is fully realized at the second coming of Jesus our redeemer. The reward for the righteous is salvation, which just happens to occur when Christ returns (Isa 62:11; Col 3:24; Rev 22:12).

2 Thes 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to (or unto) salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

To understand the intended meaning of salvation scripture it is important to understand that the word to, used in 2 Thes 2:13, carries the same meaning as the word unto, used in Matt 3:11. In both verses the word that should be used is unto, and this subtle change creates a completely different meaning.

  • Destined – for your edification please find below the many different translations of Romans 7: 13 and a detailed comment explaining the point Paul was making regarding the LAW.

Romans 7: 13 Was then that which —- IS —- “”good”" made death unto me? — “God forbid”. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Destined what is the biblical definition of sin? 1 John 3; 4, “FOR SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.”

What follows proves beyond doubt your doctrine is of satanic origins!

Paul states the LAW IS GOOD!
Paul states without the Law i.e. the Torah, we could not possibly know what sin IS!

And You destined in your hatred of what the entirety of God’s Word states is HOLY JUST AND GOOD are teaching THAT HOLY LAW OF GOD IS A BURDEN WHICH CHRIST HAD TO COME TO REMOVE OFF THE BACKS OF MEN.

    Matthew Henry Commentary

7:7-13 There is no way of coming to that knowledge of sin, —which is necessary to repentance,—–and therefore to peace and pardon, but by trying our hearts and “”"lives by the law”".

DESTINED LET THAT SENTENCE SINK IN — IT IS A FACT THAT HAS NEVER ENTERED YOUR MIND.

In his own case the apostle would not have known the sinfulness of his thoughts, motives, and actions, —- but by the law. –

That– “perfect standard” — showed how wrong his heart and life were, proving his sins to be more numerous than he had before thought, but it did not contain any provision of mercy or grace for his relief.

He is ignorant of human nature and the perverseness of his own heart, who does not perceive in himself a readiness to fancy there is something desirable in what is out of reach. We may perceive this in our children, though self-love makes us blind to it in ourselves.

The more humble and spiritual any Christian is, the more clearly will he perceive that the apostle describes the true believer, from his first convictions of sin to his greatest progress in grace, during this present imperfect state.

St. Paul was once a Pharisee, ignorant of the spirituality of the law, having some correctness of character, without knowing his inward depravity.

When the (spiritual aspects added by Christ of the) commandment came to his conscience by the convictions of the Holy Spirit, and he saw what it demanded, he found his sinful mind rise against it. He felt at the same time the evil of sin, his own sinful state, that he was unable to fulfil the law, and was like a criminal when condemned. But though the evil principle in the human heart produces sinful motions, and the more by taking occasion of the commandment; ——- yet the law is holy, —and the commandment holy, just, and good.—-

It is not favourable to sin, which it pursues into the heart, and discovers and reproves in the inward motions thereof. Nothing is so good but a corrupt and vicious nature will pervert it. The same heat that softens wax, hardens clay. Food or medicine when taken wrong, may cause death, though its nature is to nourish or to heal.

The law may cause death through man’s depravity, but —– sin —- is the poison that brings death. Not the law, but sin discovered by the law, was made death to the apostle.

The ruinous nature of sin, and the sinfulness of the human heart, are here clearly shown.

    New International Version
Did that which is good (i.e. the LAW), then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

    New Living Translation
But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my death? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation to death. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes.

    English Standard Version
Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.

    Berean Study Bible
Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Certainly not! But in order that sin might be exposed as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

    Berean Literal Bible
Has that which is good then become death to me? Never may it be! But in order that sin might be shown to be sin, it is working out death through that which is good to me, so that through the commandment sin might become sinful beyond excess.

    New American Standard Bible
Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

    King James Bible
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

    Holman Christian Standard Bible
Therefore, did what is good cause my death? Absolutely not! On the contrary, sin, in order to be recognized as sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment, sin might become sinful beyond measure.

    International Standard Version
Now, did something good bring me death? Of course not! But in order that sin might be recognized as being sin, it used something good to cause my death, so that through the rule, sin might become more exposed as being sinful than ever before.

    NET Bible
Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Absolutely not! But sin, so that it would be shown to be sin, produced death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

    New Heart English Bible
Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be. But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

    Aramaic Bible in Plain English
Was the good therefore death to me? God forbid! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, perfected death in me by the means of the good, that sin would be all the more condemned by the commandment.

    GOD’S WORD® Translation
Now, did something good cause my death? That’s unthinkable! Rather, my death was caused by sin so that sin would be recognized for what it is. Through a commandment sin became more sinful than ever.

    New American Standard 1977
Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

    Jubilee Bible 2000
Was then that which is good made death unto me? No, in no wise. But sin, to show itself sin by that which is good, worked death in me, making sin exceedingly sinful by the commandment.

    King James 2000 Bible
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

    American King James Version
Was then that which is good made death to me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

    American Standard Version
Did then that which is good become death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; –that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

    Douay-Rheims Bible
Was that then which is good, made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it may appear sin, by that which is good, wrought death in me; that sin, by the commandment, might become sinful above measure.

    Darby Bible Translation
Did then that which is good become death to me? Far be the thought. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death to me by that which is good; in order that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

    English Revised Version
Did then that which is good become death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might be shewn to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good;–that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

    Webster’s Bible Translation
Was then that which is good made death to me? By no means. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

    Weymouth New Testament
Did then a thing which is good become death to me? No, indeed, but sin did; so that through its bringing about death by means of what was good, it might be seen in its true light as sin, in order that by means of the Commandment the unspeakable sinfulness of sin might be plainly shown.

    World English Bible
Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

    Young’s Literal Translation
That which is good then, to me hath it become death? let it not be! but the sin, that it might appear sin, through the good, working death to me, that the sin might become exceeding sinful through the command,

Destined I fully realize nothing can over come Satan whispering in your ear but God calling and opening your mind and that day will come. Then and only then will you come to the knowledge of the truth.

the comment to destined regarding Romans 7: 13: Question, have all the translators mistranslated the words of Paul according to the spiritual “stuff’ that seeps into your mind from some where??

DOES PAUL STATE THE LAW IS GOOD?

DOES PAUL STATE WITHOUT THE LAW HE WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT SIN IS?

IS WHAT IS STATED BY JEREMIAH, ISAIAH AND PAUL CONCERNING GOD CONVERTING OUR NATURES BY CHANGING OUR NATURES TO BECOME TORAH COMPLIANT is that in error??

Did they all miss that “spiritual” stuff that seeped into your mind that over rides all of the WORD of GOD?? You know, that same spiritual stuff you write about day after day.

You know what I am talking about –for instances: you claim the Sabbath is every day and that claim “by you” can not be verified by the WORD of GOD period — but it is truth to you.

God created the 7th Day Sabbath as THE DAY of rest and made that day HOLY time and then according to you God changed HIS mind and made every day a day of rest which I guess nullifies the command we are to work 6 days a week – right?

OK max you can begin again to tell me i am just physical and do not have God the Father’s Spirit in me.

    • b4

your both drinking from the cup of satan you idiots–both wanting to be god with your insane interpetations of god’s meaning–how can a very small insane brain and a large mouth make any sense of anything spiritual–it cant fools–god pays no attention any of your bullshit-only you do and others that are just as retarded(sorry, retards, lowering you to these nut jobs) but god will still let you and everybody else in his kingdom because jesus died for all,not just crazy bible thumpers, christians…hell would already be full of bible thumpers/christians if salvation was not for all because so many of them are max arrogance, judgemental sobs…

      • b4

I have been referring to so called christians as the 40,000 flavors of confusion — so we agree in a very limited way but if you do not live THAT WAY Jesus Christ came to earth to reveal to His disciples, then you are not following Jesus Christ either.

Those that follow Jesus Christ will DO and OBEY all Christ did and obeyed!

  • destined

You continue to disregard the scriptures brought forth showing you are a false teacher.

You use the letters of Paul more then any other to confirm the false doctrines you teach- BUT – when confronted with statements by PAUL showing HE kept the Law and called the Law HOLY, JUST and GOOD — you as – expected keep your mouth shut.

If you are as you claim to be “A true man of god” then take the comment above and prove Paul is not saying what all of the translators say he is saying

You know full well you are twisting the words of Paul and Jesus Christ.

Have you noticed it is max, a very confused person, that attempts to call me out and he never refutes the scriptures used in the comments because he can not just like you can not.

The WORD of GOD is a two edged sword that cuts deep, one edge is the OLD and the other edge is the NEW Testament and it cuts to shreds your false doctrines.

The WORD of GOD IS TRUTH and the words of Satan whispered in your ears are all lies.

  • Destined

Here are some facts you may want to roll around in your head:

God put possibly millions to death in the flood in the day of Noah – why ?– because they refused to obey — they lived in iniquity i.e. lawlessness.

God sent the House of Israel into captivity – why? – because they refused to obey!!

God also sent the House of Judah into captivity – why?– because they refused to obey!

70 years after the death of Christ God destroyed the temple and Jerusalem AND a huge number of Jews living in and around Jerusalem – why ????

Because they refused to live by the Torah, they refused to OBEY THE WORD OF GOD!

The time of the end is upon us –WHY? because man still refuses to OBEY!!

AND yet “YOU” (mighty man of god) teach Christ came and removed the reason why GOD put all of those people to death.

REALLY?? And that is just, that is logical to you??/

The god you worship can put folks to death, can sent whole nations into captivity for not obeying him and then he just changes his mind and say “its OK now – all you have to do is accept JESUS into your hearts and mumble in gibberish and that is it”.

Do you not understand the logic??? If God can put folks to death for their iniquities one minute and then changes His mind the next — can He also not change the terms for YOUR SALVATION in the next minute???

The MIGHTY GOD I worship changes NOT!

Destined why is God about to destroy 90 % of the 7 billion plus humans on this earth in great WRATH??

    From your teachings one will come to the conclusion;

God is destroying the majority of mankind because – because ??? from your teaching that question is not clearly addressed.

It can not be because of SIN as you teach the LAW is abolish and with out the Law to define what sin is there can be no such thing as sin.

One may guess because they refuse to speak in unknown tongues as that to you is the whole purpose of the Spirit of GOD in a person.

Destined the spirit that you have welcomed into you is not GOD’s Spirit!
