Earlier this week I blogged about the GOP’s leaderships flood insurance bill reversing certain pro-taxpayer reforms in the flood insurance program. Shortly after my blog was posted, the bill was pulled from the House calendar because the leadership did not have enough votes. Media reports are that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is negotiating with House democrats to address the concerns of members. No word on if Cantor and his democratic counterparts will address the concerns of taxpayers.
