It started out with yellow ribbons and plastic wrap, then we had umbrellas and surgical masks, now it’s all about bamboo barricades.
If you’re not already impressed by these guys’ persistence and politeness then you’ll surely admire their innovation skills.
The youngsters and other locals have been busy making their own defense system after anti-protesters attacked again, and police started removing the steel barricades that were protecting the sit-in.
They plan to keep the area occupied until the promise of talks with Hong Kong authorities is fulfilled.
