National Day of Resistance Against Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation
10-22-014,  4pm @ Market Square Park
October 22nd has been mobilizing nationwide since 1996. Our mission is to bring together those under the gun and those not under the gun as a powerful voice to expose the epidemic of police brutality. The Coalition also works on the Stolen Lives Project, which documents cases of killings by law enforcement nationwide.
On Wednesday, October 22nd we will converge at Market Square Park (301 Milam St, TX 77002) at 4pm. From there we will march at 5 pm to an End Mass Incarceration Event at Houston Police Department’s Downtown Headquarters.
There will be a “safe space” for elderly, disabled, and children folks at the HPD Downtown Headquarters set up by O22Houston complete with activist street theater entertainment (If you can donate water or snacks for this area, please email [email protected]).

October 22 Houston is organized by the greater Houston community. We are a diverse group of different backgrounds and ages. If you want to get involved or for more information email [email protected], or visit our Facebook page.
