C4L Strongly Opposes ‘Net Neutrality’

SPRINGFIELD, Virginia- Today, Campaign for Liberty issued the following statement from C4L President John Tate strongly opposing President Barack Obama’s support of so-called ‘Net Neutrality.’

“Expecting the federal government to guarantee some form of equality to every website will actually make the Internet less accessible and enjoyable to most Americans,” said John Tate.

“The government can no more successfully plan how the Internet should work than it can build a functioning website. The Internet is such an incredible bastion of innovation and prosperity precisely because the American people have kept overbearing government bureaucrats from strangling it to death. We must continue to keep the government’s hands off the Internet.”
