My Side Of The Story
You may have heard the old saying that there are 2 sides to every story…..and then there’s the truth. Many times we fool ourselves into thinking that we are the brightest, most generous, most popular people in our immediate vicinity. At times, that may actually be the case. But what happens when we just don’t quite measure up to the way we see ourselves? How would you feel if you thought you were the nicest person you know, but unaware to the fact that most people see you as stuck up? Or what about the outfit you think is the best thing since sliced bread, but when you walk out your door the world sees it as an epic fail? Everybody has a their own side to a story. But the reality is that the interpretation of the truth really does lie in the eye of the beholder.
A few weeks ago, I listened to a lady I know complain about how she hates people standing over her to get a job done.
