DOJ Official Engaged In Clinton Email Probe Busted Leaking Inside Information In WikiLeaks Bombshell!

Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik provided the Hillary Clinton campaign a “heads up” ahead of a congressional hearing where a Justice Department official was likely to get questions about “State Department emails.”

The magnificent development, exposed in a new email released by WikiLeaks on Wednesday, is especially scary as Kadzik is included in the renewed probe into Clinton’s usage of private email during her period as secretary of state.

In a May 19, 2015, email Kadzik published to Podesta and numerous other top Clinton staffers:

There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.

While the leak doesn’t consist of any mind-blowing facts, a political campaign obtaining inside information from a top official at the Justice Department seems to show a obvious conflict of interest.

The hacked emails of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta have exposed a nice relationship involving Kadzik, Podesta, and the Clinton campaign. Kadzik additionally represented Podesta in 1998, per Fox News:

Peter Kadzik, who was verified as assistant attorney general for legislative matters in June 2014, represented Podesta in 1998 when independent counsel Kenneth Starr was examining Podesta for his potential function in assisting ex-Bill Clinton intern and mistress Monica Lewinsky land a position at the United Nations.

In a letter to lawmakers, Kadzik promised to “work closely” with the FBI in the relaunched investigation into Clinton’s private email server. Agents are apparently looking at thousands of new emails found on a laptop shared by Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

Investigators are certainly hunting for the existence of classified information on the laptop, but issues have also been raised about whether Abedin told the complete truth to the FBI when questioned about the email scandal.

Abedin swore under oath that she dug for “all” devices filled with government work and turned them over to her attorneys. She remembered turning over two laptops, a BlackBerry and “some files” she discovered at her apartment. But she never pointed out the laptop that is currently in the possession of the FBI.
