The Xyboard 10.1 tablet of Motorola incorporates all necessary features for enticing customers, as it was expected before its release.
Motorola Xoom, the very first attempt of the company to build a tablet for challenging Apple’s iPad, was acclaimed critically when it was launched last February. The Moto Xoom even won the Best Show award at the Consumer Electronics Show last year in Las Vegas.
Contrarily, the Xoom, having a 10.1-in screen, was a heavy (1.6 pounds) tablet and was an expensive one (launched at $800 per piece). Besides, the 3G & 4G models were only available through Verizon. Moreover, the 4G features came out about 7 months later. With arrival, the Xoom owners kept seeking a 4G hardware upgrade.
However, in the Xyboard, Motorola has seemingly compensated for most of the missteps the company made with Moto Xoom.
On the other hand, Xyboard’s Wi-Fi-only version will start at $399.99 for each 8.2-in model & at $499.99 for each 10.1-in model.
