I’ve recently paid the good folks from STAPLE a visit at REED ANNEX in the LES. Got a chance to experience the space first-hand and preview the products curated throughout the shop. We also captured some great photography! See attached.

STAPLE POP-UP
STAPLE, the iconic pigeon brand, has recently launched a pop-up store in the Lower East Side of NYC for its Fall 2012 collection: “American History _______.” Inspiration for the season’s collection ranges from the “Insurgent Era,” which draws from a military aesthetic, to the “Native Era,” which is a tribute to the original caretakers of this land. The “Staple Icon” series is a sub-collection that reflects on the brand’s origins and where they’ve come from: New York City. The Staple Fall ’12 collection consists of outerwear (featuring a Penfield collaboration jacket), a full range of premium cut-and-sew shirts and pants, graphic tees and caps.
Extended through October 15th, the Staple pop-up is housed at REED ANNEX, which has been transformed into a sort of pigeon haven complete with pigeon coops, wooden water towers and greenery.
