Some time back AT&T took the position that it could not offer FaceTime on all its data plans and informed users of this decision soon after WWDC. According to them users would need a Mobile Share plan for it to work and this would be possible after it offers the iOS6 on the 19th.
In response to this Verizon, the owner of America’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network covering more than 75 percent of the U.S. population has quickly confirmed in the media release it issued on its iPhone 5 offering that FaceTime would be possible on any of the data plans it offers. The only thing is that the normal data limits would apply. So users would need to go easy on usage of other data consuming apps. The said release has disclosed that the new iPhone launch will take place at 3AM ET on Friday September 14th. So if you are one of those just can’t wait you can log in to their website in the wee hours of the morning and place your pre-order for your piece of the action. iPhone 5 will be available starting at $199.99 for the16 GB model, $299.99 for the 32 GB model and $399.99 for the 64 GB model with a new two-year customer agreement.
