Another new laptop from Mouse Computer
We used to think that Asus was a prolific producer of new computers, well now it seems that accolade has passed to Mouse Computer who is bringing out new computers at an astonishing rate and the company’s latest addition to its LuvBook T range is the LB-T513E. This laptop should probably be considered as an entry level machine for students, home user and even business users who are looking for a reliable laptop to take around with them. It’s a 15.6 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i3 processor, HM76 chipset and the Nvidia GeForce graphics card. There are four versions of the LB-T513E available, so there is a new LuvBook T to suit all requirements and budgets.
We so many versions of the LuvBook T we have gone for the entry level machine, that way the basics are covered! The Entry configuration for the Luvbook T range has a 15.6 inch screen with wide LCD Glossy display offering a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolutions and there is a handy built in 1.3 million pixel web camera and microphone. It will be running on the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system and it is powered by the entry level Intel Core i3-3110M processor with 2.40 GHz 3 MB Smart Cache. There is support for the Intel HM76 Express chipset, while graphics and video comes from the NVIDIA GeForce GT640M & Intel HD Graphics 4000 with NVIDIA Optimus technology.
The internal memory offers 4 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SODIMM and there is a small 320 GB SerialATA 5,400 rpm connection SATA hard disk drive (HDD) available for storage purposes. As for networking, there is the 1000 Base-T/100 Base-TX/10 BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet LAN, Module compliant with Bluetooth V4.0 + LE and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wireless LAN. Other features include two standard USB 2.0 ports, two superfast connecting USB 3.0 ports, D-sub and HDMI display out and the ever handy Multi Card Reader. When it comes to size, it measures up at 376 mm (W) x 252 mm (D) x 34.9 mm (W) and weighs in at 2.43 kilos but that is with the built-in lithium-ion battery that Mouse Computer say will provide up 4.75 hours of power.
Mouse Computer has priced the LB-T513E to be competitive at just $650.
