Most Precious “Plastic Wrapper” On Mars?

NASA has assessed an object on Mars as a “plastic wrapper originating from Earth” (note 1) and is investigating the chemical elements of similarly bright objects of Mars origin (note 2). However, NASA has no plan to investigate the chemical elements of the “plastic wrapper originating from Earth”.
In fact, the “plastic wrapper” is not a plastic wrapper from Earth, but organic tissue remains of Mars origin (note 3). The basic question is: Why is the plastic wrapper from Earth so precious that it cannot be zapped with laser (ChemCam instrument) in order to prove it is plastic material?
