(Before It's News)

Now that a number of publications have found their comfortable little spot on digital spread, people are not anymore ignorant of the fact that print media is now on its last few stretches. However, it seems that many people are still yet to get accustomed to the new trend, as Newsweek announces its decision to finally ditch their prints after December 31.

Meanwhile, avid followers of the 80-year magazine will have to start getting used to flipping through the virtual pages of Newsweek Global or The Daily Beast and forget about the classic sensation of feeling every page with one’s very own fingertips.

The reason behind this switch from print to digital obviously has something to do with print readership slowly going passé. Moreover, it is also quite a costly endeavor.
