A great new feature called ‘Rooms’ on Windows Phone 8 is expected to allow users to interact in their own private virtual space.
Users will be able to share photos, calendar appointments and more. Once a ‘Room’ has been created the user can then send an invite to friends or family, they will receive an invite via text message. Once the invite has been accepted the user will have direct access to the room.
As well as file sharing, users will also have the ability to chat freely amongst friends and family. We hear that there will be a ‘Best Friends’ and ‘Family Room’ in the peoples Hub of Windows Phone 8 operating system.
‘Rooms’ looks set to replace the current feature ‘Groups’ with this upgraded service..
