30 New 4G LTE Service Markets to be added by U.S. Cellular
It has been announced by U.S. Cellular that they would expanding their 4G LTE Service coverage to 30 new markets in less than 14 days. The new markets include Rockford, Illinois; Medford, Oregon and Yakima Washington.Users of their network would now be able to use their LTE devices with the high speed that 4G brings. The company’s 4G LTE Service previously covered 28% of their customers in various markets and the additional 30 will bring up to 58% in the markets that the network would be covering with 4G once the coverage is fully implemented.
The senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer for U.S. Cellular David Kimbell was reported to have said that this would mean that more than half of their customers would now have access to 4G LTE speeds just before the holiday season commences.
