Cherry Mobile Flare starts to roll out on Nov. 17, freebies await early buyers
For those who are wondering when they can get the Cherry Mobile Flare, it will be made available starting this Saturday, Nov. 17 at the SM City North EDSA and Robinsons Place Manila.
To hopefully meet the possible overwhelming demand, Cherry Mobile will only sell 1 unit per customer starting at 1 PM. And if you happen to be one of the first 50 buyers, you’re in for a treat as Cherry Mobile will be giving away a portable battery pack (aside from other freebies) to keep your Flare charged while you’re on the go. This is something that would provide useful to this phone which has a knack of losing juice before you expect it to.
On to some pressing matters. I took the liberty in asking my CM contact on some important questions (although I couldn’t get definite answers).
- What about in other kiosks/malls, when will the CM Flare be available? We’ll have to wait for the next shipment and CM can’t say when that will arrive yet.
- How many units will be available on Saturday? We’ll keep you posted on this one.
- What are the other freebies? They won’t disclose, so I guess it’s up for the first 50 buyers to be surprised. I’m thinking a Flare case will be included.
The Cherry Mobile Flare retails for just Php3,999 and is probably the best Android phone we’ve used at that price. Check out our review of the Flare.
