(Before It's News)

For 12 years now, China has experienced game consoles ban. But, recently we have some good news coming in. first, it is expected that in December China may have Nintendo 3DS XL and that is not all. It has also been discovered that China Compulsory Certificate granted approval for CECH-3012 which is the 160GB and 320GB of PlayStation 3 earlier generation. This sounds quite weird, considering that current versions of the consoles are not officially permitted in the market yet.

Outdated Version of PlayStation 3

But, the truth is that certification alone is no guarantee that Sony will sell PS3 in China. Besides, the certified version is an outdated model that is due for replacement. The China government is still silent about this clearance but if it improves gaming in Chengdu and Shanghai, then it could be a good thing.
