Toshiba’s Canvio Slim gives you a pocketable 500GB storage
Do you bring your external storage with you everyday but find the size too bulky for your purse or pocket? The Toshiba Canvio Slim portable hard drive is one of the world’s slimmest external storage at just 8.9mm thickness.
The Canvio Slim only comes in 500GB and uses a USB 3.0 connection for faster transfers. It comes with built-in backup and security features which you can use to schedule automatic backups of your computer. Backup, which you can secure with a password, is not limited to data but also the whole OS and the installed software and settings.
This drive also comes with internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology to protect your data from shocks. Oh and it’s compatible with Mac computers as well.
The Toshiba Canvio Slim portable hard drive retails for Php3,999 and will be available to leading PC stores nationwide.
Earlier today, we learned that EA Global is now the sole distributor of Toshiba accessories which initially can only be bought from Toshiba concept stores. With the EA Global and Toshiba partnership, we’ll now see these accessories and peripherals in more accessible PC shops.
