While we are waiting for the Eclipse on 14 November, there is a quite pleasant event in the morning, with the crescent Moon near Venus on the mornings of Sunday 11 November and Monday 12 November. Venus is relatively close to the horizon, so a level clear eastern horizon is best to see these events.
