Show Notes
Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
The Access Board is a federal agency that was established in 1973 to increase the accessibility of governmental facilities. Since it’s creation, it has grown to be an international source of information and innovation on accessible design. With individuals representing many segments of the population, its focus now includes web site accessibility, telecommunications equipment, transit and information technology. To learn more about the Access Board, visit www.access-board.gov. There you’ll find all kinds of useful information on accessibility.
For more information, to read our blog or to drop us a line, visit EasterSealsTech.com. That was your accessibility minute for this week. I’m Wade Wingler with the INDATA Project at Easter Seals Crossroads, in Indiana.
