The Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Creative Tech Network is seeking innovative projects, partners and sponsors for the 2013 Pittsburgh Innovation Party, an official SXSW event at SXSW Interactive +Film in downtown Austin, Texas.

An incubator of cutting-edge technologies, the SXSW Interactive and Film Festival features five days of presentations from the brightest minds in technology and scores of exciting networking events hosted by industry leaders. From creative workshops to big-picture analysis of the future, SXSW Interactive has become the place to experience a preview of what is unfolding in the world of innovation. The Pittsburgh Innovation Event will be an official SXSW-sponsored event, held in downtown Austin during SXSW Interactive + Film, in the heart of the SXSW conference. As an official SXSW event, our event will be promoted through SXSW official marketing channels to over 40,000 attendees.
The event, which will be open to all SXSW Interactive + Film badge-holders, event partners and VIPs, will feature a full evening of SXSW-style mixing and mingling including: an exclusive VIP pre-party with national investors, celebrities and Pittsburgh innovators; an interactive arcade with the newest projects from Pittsburgh companies and students; live VJ, with music and video remixes of Pittsburgh’s innovation successes, and a circulation of up to 30,000 national and international conference attendees. Because SXSW is the preeminent event for business and technology innovation, the conference is the ideal place to raise awareness of Pittsburgh’s innovation – and reinvention, as well as reinforce the opportunities which exist and are promulgating in this region. This year’s SXSW Film and Interactive event is slated to attract over 40,000 conference-goers.
