If you haven’t picked yourself up one of the coolest gadgets of 2012, Nest’s smart thermostat, you should. The geek factor is through the roof. But it also doesn’t hurt that it is indeed quite functional and features a gorgeous physical design to boot. And starting today, the popular smart thermostat is getting a proper, full-scale rollout for Canadian fans.

At first you could only purchase the new Nest via Nest’s own website in territories up north. Starting today, however, Lowe’s , Home Depot and Amazon are also up on deck. It’s worth noting that Amazon is even selling the first generation Nest to boot. (But let’s be honest, you only want the latest and greatest, right?)
