The anarchic hacker collective Anonymous brought down a government website last month — and now it wants to do the same for President Obama’s State of the Union.
“There will be no State of the Union Address on the web tonight,” read a post on the collective site Anon Relations. “We reject the authority of the President to sign arbitrary orders and bring irresponsible and damaging controls to the Internet … we will form a virtual blockade between Capitol Hill and the Internet.”
