Today Sony had their huge press conference where they officially announced the PlayStation 4. It was a pretty lengthy conference that went two hours. In that two hours, they went over all the capabilities of the PS4, and showed off new games that were specifically made for it. We all waited it out, because we were hoping to get the first look at the console. We were left with disappointment. Sony I guess has not finished the design of the console quite yet, so we were left with our mouths open wanting more.
During the conference, Sony mentioned they wanted to take gaming to a whole other level. That level. The WiiU level. The WiiU added a controller GamePad that also acted as a second screen. Sony wants to bring that concept to the PS4, but they are going to make oh so much better. The PS Vita was mentioned to help with this second screen expansion, but they also mentioned they wanted to bring it to phones and tablets. So in comes an app announcement. When the PS4 hits stores this holiday season, you will be able to download an app for your phone or tablet, on either Android or iOS. Now we do not know how much function the app will have, but I am sure it will add to the new PlayStation experience.
So what was your guys’ likes and dislikes about the conference today? You looking forward to the PS4? Let us know down below.
