“So Let Me Introduce Myself…”
Who remembered that line from the Digital Underground and the song ‘Humpty Dance’? Maybe I am revealing a little too much here, lol! Anyway, my name is Kareem Sumner (and not ‘Humpty’ as the song continues) and I am happy to be contributing Windows Phone articles for the 1800PocketPc followers.
A little bit about me – I have had various roles in IT over the past 15 years and have been contracted as a Tech Analyst/Writer in the last 2 years. I am a tech and gadget enthusiast and am always trying to keep up with the ever changing mobile tech space. My first smartphone, which I still have, was an HTC Dash with Windows Mobile 5.0 and I am currently using a Dell Venue Pro with Windows Phone 7.8 as my daily driver (I know, hopefully I will upgrade to WP8 hardware soon. Any sponsors??). When I am not playing with my WP you can usually find me playing with my Nexus 7 (waiting for the Surface Pro 2 
). Although, I like to read up on almost all of the players (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Blackberry), I do have a micro ‘soft‘ spot for all that is Microsoft (see what I did there?).
I hope the articles I publish are as interesting and engaging as the articles that have been written on the site. Let us ignite lengthy discussions as I get to know many of you over the course of time. Until the next post…
