Komli Media, the digital media and advertising company has announced that it has restructured its leadership team in order to accelerate their growth across the APAC region. They have created a new role of CRO who will be overlooking regional and business managing directors across Komli’s networks and geographical presence.
Gulshan Verma has been promoted to this post of Chief Revenue Officer. He was previously working in Komli as the Managing Director of the Komli Media India and North America. With this new role, he will be responsible for the profitability across Komli’s businesses globally.
Akshay Garg, who happens to be the co-founder of Komli Media and Managing Director for South East Asia has been made the Strategy and Business Operations head across Komli’s global operations. Both Gulshan and Akshay will be reporting to Prashant Mehta who currently holds the position of CEO of Komli. Other people who will be reporting to Komli’s CEO are Mathew Ward, who is now Managing Director of Komli Media South East Asia, Pritesh Patel who has been made the Managing Director of Komli Media India and Middle East, Matt Sutton who is now Managing Director of Komli Engage and Komli Play and finally Varsha Brajesh who has been made the Director of Data and Analytics. Others who will report to the CRO are Amit Bhartiya, Managing Director and VP of Komli Mobile and Andrew Read, Managing Director of Komli Media Australia and New Zealand.
Prashant Mehta, CEO, Komli Media spoke of this restructuring saying,

The need for a dedicated strategy, planning and business operations is equally key to Komli’s ability to scale, improve alignment across units and sharpen focus on key strategic priorities. With the development of the CRO Organization and the Strategy function, we are well-poised to scale our business successfully across APAC.”
Komli has been seeking to extend it advertising and media networks globally. The company is headquartered in Mumbai and has a presence in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Middle East, Hong Kong and North America. Their backers include some significant names in the venture capital space like Norwest Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Western Technology Investment.
