On Location: The New Greenwich, Connecticut MakerBot Store (video)
Aside from being one of the most livable places in North America, Greenwich, Connecticut has one more aspect going for it these days: their very own MakerBot store. Aside from being slightly more spacious than their NYC flagship store, the Greenwich store resides in a village-like storefront on Greenwich’s main street amongst cozy pubs, ambient coffeehouses, and the occasional designer clothing store. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new Greenwich location (or the Boston location for that matter), it’s worth taking a peek next time you’re in the area. We stopped by last weekend and got a personal store tour from MakerBot’s Jeremiah Thurston.
Both the Greenwich and Boston stores have just opened their doors to the public in time for the holiday shopping season. If you call either of these locations your hometown, getting a new roll of filament or finding a Saturday morning activity for the young un’s just got a little easier. Similar to the NYC store, both stores will feature fully-stocked shelves of MakerBot 3D Printers and accessories, a 3D Photo Booth, and anything else you could expect from Bre and Company.
