Archos has announced Archos 40b Titanium smartphone that is optimized for audio playback, but if you want a regular smartphone without enhanced audio support you should have a look at these two devices that come from Archos.
Archos 50c Oxygen is a 5-inch device that comes with 1280×720 HD IPS display and 1.7GHz MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core processor. Regarding the memory, there is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space. In addition, there’s 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording support, 2-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS as well as 2000mAh battery. Archos 64 Xenon is a 6.4-inch device that comes with 1280×720 HD IPS display and it’s powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. Additional features include 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage space, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2,800mAh battery. Both Archos 50c Oxygen and Archos 64 Xenon will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Archos 50c Oxygen and Archos 64 Xenon are decent devices, and as for the price, both of these smartphones will cost about £200.
