Nokia is expected to launch its much awaited Android range of smartphones called Nokia X or Nokia Normandi. The news has not yet been confirmed though, but speculations say the company has finally realized the need for innovation.
There had been rumors about the company’s android handsets, however according to an article published to CamSpeed, you might actually be able to get your hands on one soon. The article revealed that the initial models would be equipped with a rear camera somewhere between 3 to 5MP and Android 4.1 operating system. The smartphones would feature Dual-SIM compatibility which also gives us a hint about its price range and target market. The handsets will be replacing the Nokia Asha range of smartphones with a major concentration in the Asian markets.
The confirmed launch date, price and availability has not yet been confirmed however, with 512MB of Ram, 4GB ROM, an SD-card slot and a standard 1,500mAh battery, the coming soon handset can be expected to be a budget phone.
It is anticipated that Nokia would launch the latest smartphones at Mobile World Congress this month. Nevertheless, with Samsung confirming the launch of the Galaxy S5, Nokia fans might have to wait a little longer for the launch.
