NVIDIA ShadowPlay, GameStream and G-SYNC
At the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 750 Ti and GeForce 750 GPUs, we were introduced to the technologies incorporated to NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX GPUs and GeForce GTX powered devices including ShadowPlay, GameStream and G-SYNC.
NVIDIA ShadowPlay
The NVIDIA ShadowPlay allows gamers to automatically record their gaming videos and share them online – without having impact on gaming performance. ShadowPlay’s Shadow-Mode enables recording of up to the last 20 minutes of game play. Moreover, Manual mode allows recording game plays of any length. ShadowPlay produces high quality videos in H.264 format. The ShadowPlay is part of NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience.
NVIDIA GameStream
The NVIDIA GameStream is NVIDIA’s advanced streaming technology. GameStream allows you to stream PC games from your GeForce GTX PC to your NVIDIA Shield therefore providing you options to play or control your favorite PC game on your NVIDIA Shield. GameStream also allows you to stream your game play to your HDTV via your NVIDIA Shield’s HDMI out.
NVIDIA G-SYNC
The NVIDIA G-SYNC eliminates screen tearing, lag and stuttering by providing a G-SYNC module on the monitor to synchronize the monitor to the output of the GPU. G-SYNC is endorsed by the biggest names in gaming industry like John Carmack, Tim Sweeney and Johan Andersson. NVIDIA says that the G-SYNC enhanced monitors deliver excellent performance, you’ll have hard time going back to regular PC monitor.
