Petwalk: World’s first programmable pet door

Pet doors are useful, especially if you don’t want to open door by yourself each time your pet wants to go outside. Today we have a special kind of pet door that you can program in order to open only during specific hours.

Petwalk is a special kind of pet door that comes with small microchip that will automatically unlock the door if it detects your pet nearby. Unlike most pet doors, this one is more complex in terms of design, it will be sealed shut when not used, and it will also keep the heat inside your house. In addition, you can program Petwalk to keep your pet locked inside or outside. This device can also work with optical sensor that is placed in your yard in order to detect if it is raining. If the sensor detects rain, it will lock your door automatically and prevent your pet from going outside.

Petwalk sounds interesting, but keep in mind that such advanced pet door is priced at about $2,000 for a medium-sized model.
