WESTON, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading cloud provider of people management solutions, announced today that the company has been ranked #4 on the inaugural list of “Ten Great Workplaces for Millennials.” This list is produced by Great Place to Work®’s Great Rated!™, the site that provides in-depth insight to job seekers on hundreds of companies and their cultures.
Companies appearing on the list of Ten Great Workplaces for Millennials were rated based upon Trust Index© employee survey scores from respondents under the age of 35 and include only companies with at least 50 millennial-aged respondents. Trust Index© scores reflect the average response of employees to 58 statements that measure levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie within a company.
“Millennials are a crucial generation for businesses as they plan for their future,” said Kim Peters, CEO of Great Rated!™ “These companies have found that meaningful work, ethical and caring management, and generous compensation make young employees feel comfortable and excited about work.”
Ultimate offers many career growth opportunities in a highly collaborative, technologically advanced, and innovative work environment that young professionals often seek. In addition, Ultimate has a unique culture of family, and many at the company say they have found a “home” they never want to leave. Benefits at Ultimate include all employees being given stock ownership when they are hired, 100% company-paid medical and dental coverage for employees and their families (including domestic partners), and a 35% match on 401(k) contributions. Lifestyle perks at Ultimate include a Wellness coach; basketball court; cycling team; on-site massages and car washes; mortgage advisors; “chill” rooms for relaxing; games throughout the offices such as darts, foosball, air hockey, and Nintendo Wii; frequent recognition and rewards for individual, team, and company achievements; and more.
“We have always valued people of exceptional talent and, over the years, we have been fortunate to build a team second to none,” said Scott Scherr, president, founder, and CEO at Ultimate. “We are honored that our millennial-aged employees rated us so highly on surveys, enabling Ultimate to appear on a list with other people-centric organizations like ours that invest in their employees. Our people have made Ultimate a business success by producing our industry’s best products and services.”
Ultimate extends our congratulations to our customers that also made the 2014 list of the Ten Great Workplaces for Millennials. These include David Weekley Homes, Google, Acuity, and Quicken Loans.
“Millennials have their unique characteristics, but our research over three decades shows that employees of all ages appreciate high-trust workplaces,” said China Gorman, Global CEO of Great Place to Work®. “Congratulations to the companies on the list of Ten Great Places for Millennials for understanding how to create great cultures for this vital generation.”
