Does it SMASH? Oppo makes video to prove its Oppo R5 is just as tough as it is thin

When Oppo announced its 4.85mm thick Oppo R5 in October, a collective cry of “too thin” went out around the Internet and looked to highlight a seemingly pointless race to have the thinnest device available on the market. Well, Oppo intends for this talk to stop, and it’s made a video to prove exactly how good and tough the Oppo R5 is despite its wafer-thin profile. Titled “Does it SMASH?”, you can probably already guess the gist of the video, as the Oppo R5 gets subjected to all manner of torture tests including slicing open a watermelon and hammering a nail into a piece of wood.
