In this work, we present a novel metal/semiconductor MoO2 /Zn0.5 Cd0.5 S heterojunction to significantly enhance photocatalytic H2 production. The as-prepared MoO2 (2 wt%)/Zn0.5 Cd0.5 S shows a photocataytic rate about 13 times higher than that of Zn0.5 Cd0.5 S alone.
