(Before It's News)

JACKSONVILLE, FL, October 1st, 2015 — PAX Technology, Inc., the fastest growing

payment solutions provider in the world, today announced that PAX’s BroadPOS secure

payment solution has been certified by First Data to accept EMV transactions using First Data’s

Rapid Connect platform. First Data is at the forefront of EMV expertise and readiness as the

company has been producing EMV-enabled cards and processing EMV transactions for years.

With this certification, merchants can now adopt a secure EMV payment solution that can be

deployed quickly to process all major payment types including EMV Chip+PIN, Chip+Signature

and NFC such as Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay.

With the First Data Rapid Connect platform merchants can authorize transactions through many

First Data front-end hosts (including North, Nashville and Buypass) and settle on First Data

back-end hosts (including Omaha, North, and Buypass).

PAX’s secure line of EMV products running the BroadPOS platform come equipped with

multiple features to include Point-To-Point Encryption and Tokenization using TransArmor,

online/offline PIN-based and Signature-based EMV credit, debit, gift and EBT transaction types.

With PAX’s unique semi-integrated solutions, Point-Of-Sale software developers can easily start

processing EMV transactions by sending as simple as just the dollar amount and an invoice

number to the EMV terminal, the EMV terminal processes the transactions directly with First

Data Rapid Connect and returns only the non-sensitive data such as approval code and token

back to the Point-Of-Sale software.

“At PAX, we are working hard to help our partners and merchants prepare for the EMV

migration in ways that not only enable them to support EMV and NFC, but also enhance their

security and reduce the complexity of the POS solution.” said Andy Chau, president and CEO of

PAX Technology, Inc.

The combination of the PAX EMV products through First Data Rapid Connect payments

processing platform provides the industry with the cost effective, complete and secure payment

system it needs and demands. The certification includes retail and restaurant industry

applications. The payment application comes equipped with multiple features to include credit,

debit, gift and EBT transaction types utilizing dial, IP or wireless communications.
