Where size matters

We describe a novel single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) cutting method without introducing large structural defects on the tubes, in which the simple ultracentrifugation of SWNTs coated with a cross-linked polymer provided shortened (<200 nm) swnts that are desired for use in many bioapplications.
