One more engineer, third in the row, has been found dead Tuesday in Vaishali district with injury marks on his body.
The 42-year-old Ankit Kumar Jha was a Quality Engineer of Reliance IT. His body, now sent for post-mortem at Sadar hospital in Hajipur, bore multiple injury marks on neck and stomach from a sharp object.
Ankit was son of Shatrughan Jha, native of Muzaffarpur district. His identity was found from a diary and identity card recovered from his pocket.
His murder follows a similar incident of three days ago in Darbhanga district in which unidentified assailants had shot dead two engineers of a road construction company – Mukesh Kumar and Brajesh Kumar.
Meanwhile, probe is on to find the motive behind the murder.
Opposition parties including BJP, CPI(ML) and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) now questions the newly formed Bihar government, the Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar alliance, whether the Jungle Raj has returned in the state.
Madhepura MP and JAP patron Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav said, “Everyone feels under threat and I feel the situation in Bihar is worse than the jungle raj it experienced during 15 years of RJD rule.”
