Grand View Research sees a $2.39 billion pico projector market by 2022

Grand View Research released a new market report in which they forecast that the pico projector market will grow to $2.39 billion by 2022. The analysts say that technology advances, compatibility via wireless connections and smartphone proliferation will drive demand for pico projectors.

The company estimates that embedded pico projectors accounted for over 35% of the total market (in terms of revenues) in 2014, and these kinds of projectors will enjoy significant growth in the next years. Other market segmentes that will enjoy fast growth is USB projectors and laser (LBS) based projectors.
