Checkpoint Systems, Inc., a leading global supplier of merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry, recently announced that Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación, S.A. (DIA), a multinational discount food retail chain with stores in Europe, Asia and South America, had selected its electronic article surveillance (EAS) solutions to improve merchandise availability at its 2,600 Spain-based stores.
