Introduction of Hryule Warriors spin-off series and other characters reveal the gaming tech giant is open to having a female version of Link.
Experts believe the idea of offering a choice in the matter would be a good part for fans and players.
It is now also widely rumored the game will feature voice acting for the majority of characters.
The main source of all these rumors is Emily Rogers, which has earlier too leaked information.
She tweeted, “There is voice acting for most of the characters… except Link.”
Rogers also wrote, “I heard from multiple sources that you can choose between a male or female as your playable character in Zelda.”
