Sam and Tom Mighell talk about how to keep your information—client data, finance documents, and other records—preserved, orderly, and accessible using a data map. Tom also tells lawyers that even though abundant online storage gives you the ability to keep all of your client and business record data, that doesn’t mean you should.
Create Decoy Meetings to Get Work Done
Need to fake yourself out to get to work? Sam recommends trying Meet Another Day, an app that lets you create decoy meetings for your calendar. Aaron calls Meet Another Day a “super cute and clever” tool that “you definitely don’t need.” Though both agree blocking off time at meeting-happy firms is best for productivity.
Tom Mighell works with corporations and their lawyers to develop defensible records and information management programs. This includes the development of policies, retention schedules, procedures, records management organizations, and training materials to ensure employees understand and adopt changes to their records management practices.
You can find Tom on his website, on Twitter, and on LinkedIn.
