Last week I took a little time off to regroup and refocus. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had such an “off” week, but y’all have been here along the way helping me through it. I finally turned to you guys for support last week and yet again I found such an amazing group of people encouraging me. I’m so thankful for those of you who make me dig in and keep going!
She shared her latest weight loss success and I think it’s awesome. I was so excited for her when I read her post last week! Stop by and say hi when you get a chance!
Dancing with my niece this weekend got me to thinking about how much I love it. When I was a little girl, about her age, I can remember dancing around the room with my aunt. When I was 8, I began clogging and absolutely fell in love with it! I spent years devoted to it. Even when it wasn’t the coolest thing in the world, I still loved it and showed it off. I’m normally really shy, but somehow I can get up and dance in front of people without thinking twice.
My husband and I actually love dancing together. We’ll dance in the kitchen while cooking dinner or in Tellico around a campfire.
I’ve also become addicted to going to Zumba now and I just love it. I’m not the best at it, but I just enjoy it. Dancing is my way of enjoying life. Luckily for me, there are plenty of reasons to do it!
There’s nothing like a two hour stretch of Zumba to get me pouring sweat and burning calories! I can achieve more through Zumba than being on my elliptical. And the best part is that I’m just dancing! I do something I love without it feeling like a chore. What’s not to love? Sometimes I have no coordination, but that’s not the point. I’m not going for Dancing With The Stars. It’s something that I don’t have to be the best at to love it.
