On the way back to our cabin I was attacked by 14 white tail deer but managed to escape and managed to take a picture of them turning back when they realized they couldn't out run me. Boy it's pretty desperate when one has to right fiction just to blog at least once every two weeks. But the truth is February is one of those months where cabin fever sets in but everything is froze up. We did get a seed catalog in last week that I have read a dozen times and I was able to get the tractor started at a -25 degrees with the help of a battery charger cranked up to 50 amps. I love diesel but when it is really cold they just are hard to start. It is a good lesson though to put on my list of things to improve for next year, if I don't run out of paper. We invited some new friends up for dinner last night and had a good time of fellowship which always makes February a time to reconnect with good friends and family. I'm starting to hit Criag's list to look for building supply's at a reasonable price and find that one Item (whatever it may be) that pops up out of nowhere calling out to me, “Buy me Buy me” Valentines day is approaching at the end of this week and I have no Idea what to do for my wife. Any suggestion please leave a comment. It looks like I may even have to work that day. My building won't start until the middle of April which will be about the time the ground thaws out. This blog may sound like I may be grousing a little but really OK OK I am grousing a little but God knows I mean no harm in it. Now that my wife is here full time now, the roof don't leak and the homestead cabin is nice and warm I really have nothing to grouse about. February is a good month to reflect back and plan forward to spring. So today I will give thanks to the Lord for supplying all my needs and sit back , enjoy the fire and meditate on his word. When I'm done with that I will Take my dog maggie out for another walk then get back and resume a book I have been reading by Tom Clancy called ” Threat Vector” Happy trails my friends, keep the faith going and keep on dreaming, it leads to wonderful things. Bless you Bob & Carol
